Colourcrete Concrete Surface Retarder – Refill and Reuse

Colourcrete Concrete Surface Retarder is a surface-applied chemical retarder designed to delay the setting of the cement paste at the surface of freshly placed concrete without affecting the concrete beneath. Once the concrete has cured sufficiently, the treated surface can be washed to expose the aggregate and create an attractive, durable exposed-aggregate finish.

Container Requirements

We will accept suitable Colourcrete Concrete Surface Retarder containers and CTI Acid containers for refilling.

To protect the quality and integrity of the product, all containers presented for refilling must be:

• In new or near-new, clean and serviceable condition.
• Completely empty and free from residue, water, dirt or contamination.
• Free from damage, deterioration, cracks or leaks.
• Returned with all previous product labels removed.
• Complete with the correct lid and internal seal.
• Suitable for safely storing and transporting Concrete Surface Retarder.

Containers that do not meet these requirements will not be accepted for refilling. Concrete Tool Importers reserves the right to reject any container considered unsuitable, unsafe or potentially contaminated.

Containers previously used for any product other than Colourcrete Concrete Surface Retarder or CTI Acid will not be accepted.

Refilled Product Sales Are Final

All Concrete Surface Retarder refill sales are final. We cannot accept the return of refilled product once it has left our premises because we have no control over how it has been transported, stored, handled or used after collection.

This policy protects the integrity of our product and ensures that potentially contaminated or incorrectly stored material is not returned to our supply system.

Customers are responsible for confirming the product type and quantity required before leaving our premises and for transporting, storing and using the product in accordance with the label, Safety Data Sheet and application instructions.

For the best results, always select the correct retarder grade for the concrete mix and conditions, apply it evenly and protect surrounding surfaces from overspray.
